The interview process was quite lengthy and took a while. I believe I went through three or four interviews, and all of them were conducted virtually. This was much more convenient than having to travel to their office each time. They were pretty prompt in letting me know if they wanted to proceed with another interview. After my final interview, they sent over an offer letter quite quickly.

I applied on the company website, then a recruiter reached out. After that, I had to submit a video interview. Finally, I interviewed in person at Vivent in Kansas City. It felt like too many steps for a job that only paid 40k. During my in person interview, I asked about staffing levels and turnover. I was told they would be fully staffed once my position was filled and that they had stable staffing. That turned out to be untrue. By the time I left, less than 6 months later, 4 out of the 14 case management positions were vacant, and all but 3 of the filled positions had been there for less than a year.

The interview process itself was efficient and they communicated back to me in a timely manner. However, the onboarding process and new hire planning needs a lot of improvement and in my experience was not aligned with how the interviews went. This is something that the company is starting to improve and is being discussed across the organization.

The interview process itself was straightforward. There was approximately a month between my interview and receiving a job offer. The agency's current interviewing process operates at a faster pace, which is a positive development.
