HR Business Partner
The whole interview process was great. The recruiter was helpful and kept me informed, and things moved really fast. I got quick responses and interview follow-ups. It was a good experience overall. Now that I'm here, I see how much real effort goes into making the candidate experience positive.
- How have you handled situations in the past that are similar to this one?
- Can you share an example from your previous work that is relevant to this situation?
Marketing Manager
My interview experience with Vivacity Tech was disappointing. The conversation felt rushed and lacked warmth from the start. They didn’t make much effort to create a welcoming atmosphere, just a quick company overview, a brief role mention, and then straight into scripted questions. What stood out most was how disengaged the whole process felt. The tone and pacing made it hard to build rapport, and the lack of interaction made me second-guess my responses. Normally I’m comfortable, but their unresponsiveness made it feel one-sided. The interview also ended abruptly without a courteous close, reinforcing the transactional rather than thoughtful impression. Also, the interview was recorded without any prior notice or consent, which was concerning regarding professionalism and transparency. This was disheartening because I believe in Vivacity’s mission and see potential in their EdTech work. However, the current recruitment process risks leaving strong candidates with a negative impression. A more engaging, respectful, and transparent approach would better reflect the innovation and community values they promote.
- Walk me through a lead-generation campaign you managed, from beginning to end.
QA Engineer
The interview process was not scary at all, with a very friendly vibe and incredible people. It involved three stages: an initial contact, a technical interview, and a final meeting with the CEO. However, the HR representative we interacted with was extremely irresponsible regarding the offer process. She sent the signing documents on a Friday evening. When I replied on Monday to correct some information in the offer, she ignored it. I reminded her on Tuesday morning, and she promised to fix it and send a new copy within hours, but again, nothing was sent. Instead, after I waited for 4-5 hours, she rescinded the offer, citing a missed deadline. Despite this HR issue, the company itself seems decent, offering numerous bonuses and having very friendly staff.
- Can you explain how to establish QA workflows and set priorities?
Customer Success Manager
From the jump, this was unprofessional. I applied and got an interview scheduled the very next day. Even though I have years of CSM experience, the interviewer got on the call and was clearly distracted and seemed disinterested. They also recorded the interview without asking first. They started off by saying they'd normally tell me about the company but wanted me to tell them about it instead. Then they asked if I'd be open to a BDR role if the position changed.
- Tell me about our company.
- Would you be interested in becoming a BDR if we decided to change the role that we hired you for?
