First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Viva Day Spa.
Front Desk Receptionist
Everyone was super nice and friendly. They asked a lot of questions, but I could tell it was because they wanted to make sure they found the right fit. The whole process had about 3 to 4 steps, starting with a phone call and ending with a visit to the spa.
- What would you do if you had a lot of tasks and unexpected issues came up at the same time?
Massage Therapist
I interviewed and got an offer letter and did training with them. They took back their offer after the first "test out" after I had quit my job and put time into training. I found their training bad and the trainer was late a lot and rushed. I told the company and they don't seem to care.

Licensed Massage Therapist
So I sent my resume in, then they gave me a call for a phone screening. After that, they asked me to come in for a sit-down interview. Since I guess I seemed like a good fit for the culture, they called me back for a hands-on, practical interview where I did a one-hour massage on the manager, who is also an LMT.
- What's your approach when a guest requests a specific massage technique, but your professional assessment indicates a different or more comprehensive approach is needed?
Licensed Massage Therapist
I submitted my resume, and they called back to ask a few quick questions. Then I went in for an in-person massage demonstration with the hiring manager. After that, they called me back with a job offer.
- Did you enjoy massaging people?
- How did you build rapport with clients?
- What's your approach to helping people achieve wellness through massage?
