First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vitech Systems Group.
Software Engineer
The interview process had 3 rounds: first an online test, then a tech round focused on theory, and finally a live coding tech round. I passed all of them. But then they asked for my bank statements for the past 6 months. They said they thought I might be lying about my experience. I offered my offer letters, appraisal letters, salary slips, and I was even ready to submit my ITR documents that show where TDS was deducted. But they kept insisting. I decided to withdraw my application because they just wouldn't trust me. The Glassdoor reviews were accurate, it seems.
- What are the build modules in Node.js?
- Could you answer some core Java questions?
Software Engineer
I applied via my university portal and got called for an on-campus interview about three weeks later. The first round was with a Senior Director, and it was about Java and JavaScript debugging, focusing more on optimizing the code than finding errors, which was pretty challenging. I was surprised to get a call for the super day, even though I didn't think I'd make it. The final round had two interviews, each with a developer for about 45 minutes, followed by a brief HR chat about salary expectations and company information. It usually took about 1.5-2 weeks to hear back after each round. The overall process felt smooth and professional.
- Could you explain what IOC is in the context of Spring?
- What's the distinction between Indexing, groupby, and having clauses in DBMS?
- Describe the Java runtime process after a class file is created. Does Java use pass by value or pass by reference?
Senior Software Engineer
I applied on LinkedIn and got a call from HR for some general questions. After that, I had a 30-minute telephonic round. If I passed that, HR invited me for an onsite interview which consisted of 2nd round - 50 mins with a developer, 3rd round - 25 mins with a tech manager, 4th round - 20 mins with a senior developer, and 5th round - 30 mins with a tech director.
- Can you tell me about your basic knowledge of Java?
- What's your basic knowledge on DB?
- How about your basic knowledge on Collections?
