The recruiter was great and made me really enthusiastic about the job. I got to talk about my experience managing important projects, but the last interview with a senior leader was a letdown. She showed up really casually dressed and unprepared, which felt unprofessional. In the end, it wasn't the right fit for me, and I think I was lucky to avoid it.

Applied and heard back for an interview within 24 hours. Spoke with a recruiter who was great, explaining the company, the role, the team, and the workload, giving a clear picture of expectations. After the interview, they discussed next steps, and I was told what to do if I didn't hear back. Received a response within 4 hours letting me know I wasn't moving forward, with a specific reason and a compliment. Left feeling positive about the organization and would gladly apply again if another position opens up.

There were three stages total in the interview process. First, there was a screening call. Then, you interviewed with three team members. Finally, there was a third interview. The questions were mostly about your experience related to the role and your past experience in general.

It was a really long process, over 45 days, mainly because scheduling was tricky with people traveling. I think it could have been quicker if they were around more. They did a screen, then a virtual interview with people from different teams and DEI folks. I appreciated their structured approach to reduce bias. Some questions were repetitive, which was confusing. I really believed in the company's mission and was excited about the opportunity, especially reaching the final round. They ended up choosing someone else, I guess because I didn't have non-profit recruiting experience, which wasn't even in the job description, or I wouldn't have applied. They reposted the job two weeks later. I contacted the director about reapplying since I'd just interviewed, and she said I could. It was a bit upsetting, especially since they mentioned how hard it was to pick someone and that I had great experience – not sure if that was true if they didn't consider me before reposting. They seem unsure of what they want. It's also frustrating when companies include people who shouldn't be in the interview process, making it unnecessarily long. Hope they find who they're looking for.
