HR was friendly and efficient. I had a screening call, then an in-person interview with two people. Lastly, I did a short presentation on Teams with the Chief People Officer. Everyone seemed upbeat and passionate about the company. The impression is they want to evolve the business during a period of fast growth. They showed interest in the breadth of my experience, my drivers, and work ethic. I asked about flexible/hybrid working as I'm a parent. Instead of emails, the Manager called me to discuss the company's approach, which I see as a positive sign of understanding and support for staff with family obligations. My gut feeling is that I'll fit in and work well with the team.

So I had this 20 min Zoom call, and after that they sent me a technical assessment. They asked me some general stuff about C# and also about some specific technologies they use, which kinda caught me off guard since it wasn't in the job posting. The person interviewing me seemed pretty checked out, like they'd already made up their mind. The take-home test was super rushed, due back the same day, and it was about reviewing some basic code and giving feedback on it without actually modifying it.

I had an interview and got along well with the interviewer, who indicated he wanted to move me forward. Three weeks passed without any contact, which I attributed to the holiday season. I emailed the HR contact for an update, and they said they would check with the hiring manager. After a few more emails over a week, and then two weeks of emailing multiple HR people, they became unresponsive.
