The whole interview thing took like 2 weeks. It started with a screener call, then I went in for a face-to-face with the head honcho of Donor Relations, and after that, I met with both the head of Donor Relations and Donations.

I interviewed for about three hours and didn't get an offer. The hiring manager's one-hour interview focused on cultural fit, calling his team a "cult" and mentioning firings, instead of my skills. The job keeps getting posted and removed, suggesting turnover. There were several red flags. HR should review interview practices for professionalism and skills focus.

Interviewing was straightforward, not intimidating, and the interviewers were knowledgeable. Communication post-interview is inconsistent regarding follow-up. I attribute this to it being a large corporation (even though it's a non-profit) and the hiring being managed remotely from Arizona.

I interviewed at a Vitalant Research Institute location in the Bay Area. The process started with a video call with the hiring manager, which was a really good interaction. After that, I was invited for an onsite interview. The onsite part was pretty disorganized, like there wasn't really a schedule and no one told me what to expect. A lot of my interviewers seemed unprepared, one even said they weren't ready for our chat. I sent a thank you email after, but then I never heard back. It felt unprofessional after they invited me onsite and met with me.
