I was greeted with a coffee and a joke, which made the experience better. It was a pretty typical interview, but the guys interviewing me were really personable and made the experience much less nerve-wracking.

Behavioral Other

First, I spoke with the recruiting team to make sure we were on the same page and expectations were clear. Then, I had a 45-minute virtual meeting with the hiring manager where we talked about my leadership background, how I approach sales strategy, and how I build and grow teams. After that, I went on-site for a two-hour session with the company's owner and VP, where we discussed organizational objectives, whether I'd be a good fit for the culture, and prospects for long-term growth.
