Analyst
I had 2 calls scheduled with the HR recruiter for a phone screen, but they never happened because the recruiter missed them. I persisted and got the recruiter to call me. Then I had a phone screen with a hiring manager and another call with a team member, both of which went well. After that, I went into the office for a 5-hour interview. Two days later, I received a generic email stating they decided to go with other candidates. I felt that after the time I invested in the interviews, an in-person follow-up call would have been more professional. I asked for feedback and was briefly told they were looking for someone with more experience in an area that I had clearly communicated and discussed in earlier interviews. I think the team was not aligned on what they wanted in a candidate, and they wasted my time while they figured it out. Some of the team seemed great, but their process indicates disorganization. They need to prioritize better before interviewing. The HR contact was unprofessional.
- Can you tell me about a project you were involved in?
Senior Software Engineer
I got a call from a consultancy. First round was a 30-minute telephonic technical interview. Then, there were two face-to-face rounds. The first was a core technical interview lasting 40 minutes, and the second was a high-level technical interview for 20 minutes. After that, I had a 20-minute F2F with the Delivery Manager, which was usual. Finally, a 1-hour F2F with the Vice President for business and personality assessment.

Intern
It was a three round process. The first round was a written test conducted in college, which included aptitude questions, verbal ability, coding output questions, and general aptitude. The second and third rounds were in-person interviews at their office.
