Business Development Manager
The interview process was extremely professional, and very conversational based on the questions asked. All five individuals I spoke with were open, honest, informative and communication was clear. The process consisted of an HR screening, two interviews with the hiring RVP, two interviews with internal team members and a call with the COO. This was the best interview process I have experienced. Vistage operates with the highest integrity. Kudos to Vistage Worldwide and their team.

Product Manager
It started with a couple of phone chats with HR and the Hiring Manager. Then I had two in-person interviews that were pretty long, like 1.5-2 hours. In those, I chatted with different people from the team for about 30 minutes each, talking to both leaders and peers. Everyone was cool. They mostly asked the usual stuff like biggest successes, challenges, and what I offer. They really wanted to know about products I'd made and shipped before and how well they did. Didn't get the job in the end because someone else had more specific experience. The interviews themselves weren't too tough, but considering the time it took and how many people I talked to, it was a bit harder than average.

Chief Executive Officer
Vistage works with 1099 consultants, experienced execs, who chair groups of CEOs or small biz execs in their cities. I was recruited by Vistage and went through their process. It started with a few recruiter interviews, then a WebEx with Vistage execs. After that, I was invited to their San Diego training event. I paid for the event and all my T&E. At the end of the event, they told me they had enough people for the city I was interested in. I liked talking with them, got good feedback, and was surprised they didn't mention needing people until the end. This process took months of my time and Vistage's. It's a big time commitment for both sides, especially for 1099 roles. I've gotten actual jobs with more pay and benefits with less effort.

Sponsorship Sales
HR assistant set up a call with an HR rep. The call with the HR rep went well. The next day, I had a phone call interview with the hiring manager, which also went well. Then I had a phone interview with the VP of sales, followed by a face-to-face interview with the hiring manager and their counterpart. I completed all three interviews. The call with the VP of sales went well, but only one of the two face-to-face interviews went well. I felt like I had more sales experience than my potential manager during the face-to-face with the hiring manager, which was a bit strange. I sent two follow-up emails, but the hiring manager didn't even send a simple thank you back. After waiting a week, I got the standard rejection email. I had to do all the follow-ups myself.
