It was a 40-45 minute interview, split into sections with two questions each. They asked about puzzle solving, DSA, OS, Linux commands, and CS fundamentals. The DSA questions weren't too difficult.

So after the aptitude test (which had train questions, quant, and reasoning), I had 3 technical rounds and then an HR round. The technical rounds covered things like binary search, hashMap, data structures, OS threads, and the software development lifecycle.

I applied to Vistaar Technologies in September 2017 through my college. The whole thing was a 2 day process. First, there was a written aptitude test plus a programming test. Then came Technical Interview 1, followed by Technical Interview 2. The last round was HR plus a technical interview. The aptitude test happened at their office in Santacruz, Mumbai in October 2017. It had 3 parts: quantitative, logical & data structures, and a programming test. No negative marking. The quant section had questions on geometry, speed time distance, averages, ages, profit and loss, percentages, etc. The logic section covered data interpretation, arrangements, arrays, etc. The programming test had 3 questions, and you only needed to do 2 to pass. You could use any language, but no built-in functions like sort(). Questions were like: 1. Find the second largest and smallest element from an unsorted array. 2. Anagram of palindrome. 3. Deletion of Duplicate elements. 4. From an array of positive and negative numbers, find any 2 numbers whose sum is closest to 0. 5. Find the reverse of a number. 6. Sort an array with only 0s and 1s in one pass. They announced the results in about 2-3 weeks, and I passed. The interviews were also at the Santacruz, Mumbai office in December 2017. I didn't pass the first technical interview though.
