The original interview was great! I was easily able to talk with the recruiters and had a great conversation with them. I also had 2 subsequent phone interviews with different people. The first phone interview also had a really good conversation, where as the 3rd interview felt rushed and very surface level.

The interview process was very organized and happened fast. You apply on their website myhospitalitycareer.net and complete two surveys. Then, someone contacts you about the job. If they think you're a good fit, you'll meet with the hiring manager and two other interviewers before they make a decision.

So after seeing the ad in the paper for Hampton Inn -- Altoona, I went and dropped off an application and resume. The folks there were super nice. About 3 days later, they called me for an interview. I met with three managers - the Guest Service Manager, Assistant General Manager, and General Manager. They all seemed really knowledgeable and nice. They asked stuff about customer service, like how I'd deal with an angry guest, what in my past work makes me a good fit for the Front Desk Agent role, and if I'm a team player. Honestly, having three managers interview me felt like overkill, especially for this kind of job.

It was quite a lengthy and drawn-out process, taking several weeks. You could tell the regional managers were really eager to get someone in the role ASAP. They were really thorough with their questions and the whole thing was very professional.
