First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Visiting Media.
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was fine. I moved on to the second round. After finishing the second round, I never heard back. I emailed the recruiter, but got no response. I emailed the interviewer I had in round 2, no answer. Completely ghosted. It's been about a month.
- Can you share your experiences?
- What makes you want to work here?
People Operations Generalist
Everything was handled via email. My first two interviews were both virtual. I was told the team planned to make a fast decision and inform me by week's end. When I didn't hear back, I tried contacting the People Ops Manager who handled everything. After not hearing back the following week, I reached out to the Recruiting Manager who was in the second interview. She said she'd have him contact me later that day. I still didn't hear back, so I withdrew my application. Even though I was impressed with the company, loved the role, and enjoyed the team, I felt the communication wasn't up to par. I was also unclear about the division of responsibilities between the Recruiting Manager and the People Operations Manager. As a recruiter myself, I felt the follow-through for a candidate who completed both interview stages should have been better, regardless of whether they decided to hire me or not. I still recommend this company for all roles, but I'm sharing my experience for feedback and transparency.
- Could you share your perspective on company culture and how to foster and maintain it in a completely remote environment? Additionally, how do you contribute to the onboarding process in your present role?
Sales Development Representative
The interview process was super quick and thorough. First, I spoke with the recruiter. Then, I met with the manager, and we did a roleplay together. Everyone on the team was really nice and down to earth, which made me even more interested in working here.
- Can you tell me what you know about Visiting Media?
- What qualities do you possess that make you a good SDR?
Customer Success Manager
The interview was great. Jillian makes you feel very comfortable. She even recommended an additional position I would be a great considerate for. Still waiting to see if I got the job.
