A recruiter reached out to gauge my interest. I then had an interview with the in-house recruiter. After that, I interviewed with the Chief Business Development Officer and Chief Operations Officer.

First, a recruiter will reach out to you to give you the general details about the job and the pay. If you're still into it, they'll connect you with the program manager who will be your boss. The Program Manager might then decide to have other team members interview you to see if you're a good fit. If that goes well, the Program Manager will then send you to meet the client for their approval. After that, you'll get an offer.

Behavioral Case Presentation

I interviewed with their subsidiary, Meridian, and found their communication and overall process to be efficient and organized. They were punctual with appointments and transparent about their work, challenges, and methods. Despite their search for candidates with specific COTS product experience, I didn't receive an offer. The recruiter was excellent, providing clear communication throughout and informing me when I was no longer under consideration. I'd happily work with him again and have a positive impression of Meridian. My only minor concern is their request for references as part of the initial application, as I believe reference information is sensitive and should be shared later in the process. The interview included a role-play exercise, which was as expected but might catch some off guard, so be prepared. I sensed that stakeholder management is a significant challenge for them, implied rather than stated, and their clients seem quite demanding.

I was contacted by phone after uploading my resume to Dice.com. The first step was a preliminary phone call to check my personality. Then, there were a few more calls to set up an interview with developers. At the time, I didn't know the exact details of the work, but I later found out I'd be a subcontractor for Fast Enterprises. The second interview was with two Fast Developers from a specific client's site. They asked questions to assess my personality and experience as an employee and developer. Two questions were puzzles designed to test my thought process. I struggled with one and needed hints, but they seemed to like me and ended the call positively. I also didn't know my work location initially, even though the posting mentioned Denver, Colorado. They only revealed the location options after I accepted the offer.
