First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virtuos.
Senior Programmer Analyst
It was a two round interview process. The first round was to check for company team policy match. The second round was technical, involving several people from lead to engineers. It was very professional and straightforward, which I'd highlight compared to typical corporate interviews. On the flip side, I applied for a fully remote position, and I didn't feel like it was a good match from either side.

- What are the challenges and risks you foresee with this design?
Regional Director
I had a few calls with HR/People and someone who used to be in the same role. Everyone I talked to was super nice and professional. It took a while to get calls scheduled and the whole thing was pretty long, but the actual conversations were pretty chill from my end.
- Could you provide more details about your background?
- Can you expand on the information on your resume/CV?
Senior Frontend Engineer
Virtuos HR reached out, and I had a technical interview scheduled a couple of days later. However, it felt more like a behavioral round, as neither interviewer asked any technical questions about tech stacks or libraries. All questions were scenario-based, so I think having convincing answers or follow-up questions from them would have been key. The interview was supposed to be 1 hour. After it, I sent a thank-you email a few days later asking for feedback, but got no response. It felt like a total waste of time, especially since I took time off for it. Very disappointed with how this interview process went, I'd advise others not to waste their time here.
- Can you share a story about a challenging situation you encountered?
- Tell me about a time you experienced failure in a scenario.
Data Analyst
The interview process started with an HR interview which went well. This was followed by a take-home task that had unclear goals and insufficient details, feeling more like a university assignment without a clear marking standard. Next was a nearly two-hour interview with the lead, covering my experience, the take-home task, and some on-the-spot questions. A further interview was planned but they ghosted me without a rejection email. Strangely, another HR person reached out later saying they were hiring, suggesting poor candidate information management or lack of due diligence.
- How would you approach technical challenges in data visualization?
