The process was lengthy, involving 5 interviews and 3 projects. The Zoom interview was unexpectedly changed to an in-person one on the same day. There were 3 one-on-one interviews and 2 panel interviews. They frequently requested interviews or changed times/locations last minute, showing little respect for personal time or preparation.

The interview process at Virtual was a bit disorganized, with the job description changing. It began with an HR phone screen that went well. Then there was an in-person panel interview, which started late and involved some technical but mostly general questions. This was followed by a phone screen with a remote VP, which had to be rescheduled twice due to lateness and no-shows before it finally happened. After that, I didn't hear back for days until I was told they were moving in a different direction.

So the whole process was just one interview with the hiring manager. We talked a lot about my past work and experience in data analytics, like the kinds of projects I've done and the software I've used. They asked what I find interesting about data and how I tackle data challenges in the real world. The manager then laid out a couple of scenarios about pulling data from different places and wanted to hear how I'd approach integrating it all. We also chatted about data modeling ideas and what's considered good practice, plus my experience with data visualization tools and how I create dashboards to help make business decisions.

It was a straightforward process. First, I spoke with the hiring manager, and then there was another interview. This second interview was very professional and focused on outlining the position and the required skills. Overall, it seems like a good place to work, and the people are nice.
