First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Virginia Heart.
Healthcare Manager
My first interview was with the physicians and HR for the office, and then my second interview was with Senior Leadership. They were all really nice and respectful, and seemed genuinely interested in learning about me and my background. The whole process was really smooth, and it was a great experience.
- Can you share an example of a difficult leadership situation you managed?
- Describe a challenging leadership experience you handled.
Cardiac Technician
It was a really welcoming and inviting interview! I got to talk with the interviewer for a good while and felt like they really heard me out. It was on the phone, so it wasn't super formal, but it did go on for about 30 minutes.
- Tell me about the last workplace obstacle you encountered and overcame.
Patient Service Representative
I interviewed with a bunch of managers from different departments, then I interviewed with more managers again. After the interviews, I shadowed someone. The whole process took a while, but it was pretty easy. They asked normal interview questions, and then gave me some scenarios to see how I'd handle them.
- Can you share an instance of a conflict you experienced and the steps you took to resolve it?
- Describe a time you had a conflict with someone and how you solved it.
Scheduling Coordinator
I interviewed with two women, one nice and one cold. I felt like I nailed the interview and they said I was a top candidate. Afterwards, I spent 5 hours there shadowing and meeting the team. Everyone seemed to like me. But I didn't get the job and I still don't know why. What a waste of my time.
- I had two people firing questions at me simultaneously.
