The interview process was straightforward and professional. It started with a phone screening and then moved to an on-site interview. The questions were about technical knowledge, problem-solving, and past experience. The panel was friendly and approachable.

I was contacted by the hiring representative, and after a good initial chat, I moved on to the next interview stage because my background was a strong match for the role. This next interview was a Teams/Zoom call with the hiring rep and two managers. One of the managers asked what I knew about the company/role. When I asked for more specific details about what he was looking for, he responded sarcastically and heatedly, saying 'It's okay if you don't know anything.' He then proceeded to explain company information in a condescending and belittling way, which was a really negative experience for me. The interview was pretty much over for me at that point, and I just tried to get through the rest of the awkward call. I was really glad I didn't get a follow-up interview.

It was a fast process. After it ended, recruiters went silent and didn't give an update. It's fine to say no, candidates deserve closure after putting in time. Recruiters need to improve. The company might be great, but if this is how you hire, maybe working there is the same.

The interview process started off a bit confusing about where I would fit. I initially met with HR during an open house and expressed my interest in operations roles. My first meeting was with the technical manager who, after seemingly reviewing my resume for the first time, spoke with HR and concluded that part of the interview. Following that, I was interviewed by a team of four people. The questions were typical, with one interviewer who seemed to be evaluating me rather than understanding my personal style. This was evident when, after I answered one of his questions, he pointed out it was the correct answer, which I already knew.
