Customer Service Representative
First, an online interview, then a face-to-face with a group activity. You'll need to record yourself answering three questions, with only three attempts for each before it automatically closes. After that, they'll contact you about a recruitment day.
- Please introduce yourself and describe yourself using three words.
Customer Service Agent
It was an easy video interview with about 5 questions, and you had a few minutes to answer each. Then there was a recruitment day that concluded with a quick 5-minute chat.
- Can you work different shifts on a rotating schedule?
Customer Service Representative
I applied online and got a phone call for a group interview. On the day, we spent about an hour listening to the recruiter talk about Virgin and ask us questions (so you should definitely research the company and be ready to add something about their other business areas or how long they've been around). Then we did a reading of a mock boarding call, and were divided into rooms. After the first group was sent out, they told the rest of us to sit down because that group was being sent home! Whoever was left then had one-on-one interviews, with basic questions like 'what's your idea of excellent service' and 'give examples'. They called about 10 days later with good feedback, but apparently I didn't say enough about how great Virgin is or make it clear it was the job I really wanted. So my advice is: really suck up! Do your homework on the company and why they are the only place you want to work.
- Can you give me an example from your past where you delivered excellent service?
- What does excellent service mean to you?
- Tell us about other industries Virgin operates in, or how long they have been in business.
