Sales Development Representative
The interview process included 3 stages: first, an initial screening call with the recruiter, then an interview with a manager, followed by an interview with an AE. The process concluded with a final panel/presentation with senior staff. It was a good process, moved fast, and everyone was professional and lovely.

Sales Development Representative
I went through 3 rounds of interviews, which was more than the initial 2 planned. The first round's interviewer was 15 minutes late, so a recruiter rescheduled. While I understand 'life happens', a heads-up would have been nice. The second interview also started about 5 minutes late, which made me a bit uneasy. The third and final interview with the Hiring Manager was also delayed, this time by 3 minutes. These minor delays, while small in duration, show a pattern of disregard for punctuality which makes me question the company culture. I hope they can improve on this.
- What motivated you to apply for this position?
Sales Development Representative
Got contacted by a Director on LinkedIn. Had a quick chat about my background, then talked to a lead recruiter who had me fill out an online app. The recruiter did a phone screen a few days later, answered my questions, and explained the SDR and AE roles to help me figure out what fit best. Since I had another offer with a deadline, the Vimeo folks were cool and sped things up. A few days later, I went to the office for interviews. They greeted me, gave me a tour, and I felt comfy. I interviewed with the SDR Team Lead, Director of Sales, and VP of Sales (I knew who they were beforehand). Each chat was about 30 mins, fun, and relaxed. They also sent me stuff to prep for a role-play where I acted like a salesperson qualifying a lead. This "call" was in my last interview with the VP. I got the offer the next day (interviewed Thursday, got offer Friday) and took it right away. Liked the transparency and how helpful HR was. Everyone at Vimeo seems super passionate about the company's future.
