First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Villa Healthcare.
MDS Coordinator
I met with the administrator for the first interview. She was very nice and friendly, and the interview was pretty laid back. Then I had a second interview over the phone with the regional MDS. It wasn't too bad, they understood I had limited experience but are willing to train the right candidate.
- What is your experience as an MDS coordinator?
Social Worker
Interviewed with Administrator and was asked questions about care plans, discharged planning, care conferences, assessments. Calling families, guardianship process and completing MDS assessments. I was also asked about being able to work on some weekend rotation.
- Do you know how to create care plans and discharge planning?
Human Resources Position
So I had my first interview over the phone with the Recruiting Director. She was so passionate and enthusiastic, and she really made me feel the Villa's commitment to their employees, rehab patients, and long-term residents. I really enjoyed hearing about the Villa's opportunities and the specifics of the position. Then, the second interview was in-person with the VP of HR. She was super welcoming, shared her own career journey, and talked about why she loves working at Villa. She totally won me over right from the start!
- Can you tell me about your experience relevant to this role?
- What motivated your interest in this position?
- Could you describe your career path?
Business Office Manager
I interviewed with the Administrator, and then had another interview with the Regional Manager. The Regional Manager offered me the job, and I accepted. After a week, I hadn't heard back. For the next 5 weeks, I called the Administrator weekly but never got a call back. I also couldn't get a response from texts and emails to the Regional Manager. I learned my lesson that a verbal "you're hired" isn't official.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
