QA Engineer
The recruiting manager called me first to talk about the job, my responsibilities, and the required skills. Then, she asked about my experience and personality before asking if I was still interested. It was a friendly and transparent conversation. The team manager called next. She was enthusiastic and asked some technical questions that weren't too hard. After those calls, I had an onsite interview with five people, including the team manager and captains. While I was a bit nervous at first, it turned into a comfortable, conversational experience rather than an interrogation. The focus was mainly on my personality and whether I'd be a good fit for the company, assessing both my technical and non-technical background and past projects.
- Inquired about research on Selenium.
Program Manager
I had an initial recruiter call which I passed, followed by an in-person interview in Orlando. This onsite involved meeting with the hiring manager for a 2-hour discussion. During the conversation, I noted two significant concerns. Firstly, the manager mentioned that a key responsibility of the role would be to inflate progress reports for senior management, which suggests a potentially hostile and untrusting work environment. Secondly, the manager self-identified as a micromanager who struggles with delegating and trusting subordinates. I have not yet received a callback, which is concerning, but these points stand out as major red flags.

Business Analyst
They called me in for an interview where I was supposed to design a product, but they didn't actually let me do it. The interviewers seemed unsure of what they were looking for, and the manager was really unprofessional. They tried to act like a Silicon Valley company, but they're really not. From the technical recruiter onwards, it was clear they were unprofessional and didn't know what they wanted. If you're looking for a chaotic environment with lots of internal conflict, this is the place for you.
- The questions were pretty basic; the senior business analyst was the only knowledgeable person there. However, the main issue is that they internally disagree on what a business analyst actually is.
Customer Support Specialist
I applied online and got a call about a week later. They set up a phone interview that went well. Then, I had an in-person interview where I was asked about my past jobs and what I did in each one. It was pretty casual, and they said they wanted someone who'd fit with the team. After that, I talked briefly with the hiring manager. She mentioned Viewpost does a thorough background check and they had more people to interview. She said she'd let me know after everyone else was interviewed.
- If you could be any animal, what would you choose?
