First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Viega.
Sales Director
The interview process was really well-thought-out and made sense. The current employees had great things to say about the company and gave good examples of why it's a fantastic place to work. They were good at explaining what would happen next and followed up well.

Design Engineer
I found the job on ZipRecruiter and the whole thing took about two months. The staffing agency reached out the next day after I applied, and we had a call. The interview itself was scheduled about two weeks later at the Viega facility in Nashua, NH, and I met with the Manager. It was about 45 minutes long and went really well; he even introduced me to the team. I was happy with how it went and he said I'd hear from the agency. I talked to the recruiter right after and she had great feedback from the manager. The next day she emailed saying things were good and asked if I had a driver's license because the job involves travel, and mentioned I might have to meet them again soon. I was excited, but after two days she said they were busy with a long weekend coming up and wanted to reschedule after it. Then, they postponed it for three weeks. When I followed up again, she told me they'd put the position on hold, assuring it wasn't about me. I was so disappointed; it would have been better if they'd considered the job's importance before interviewing me. It's one thing not to be selected, but putting the job on hold after the whole process and giving false hope isn't good HR. The staffing agency was great, keeping me updated. The company's HR, though, maybe not so much. I really hope they sort this out.

This was by far the most in depth interview process I've ever been through in my entire career. The first phase was a 30 minute phone screen by HR. Typical questions such as "why are you looking" followed by a brief description of the company and typical questions about my experience in the industry. The first interview lasted almost 3 hours. I spoke to somebody in Kansas who had previously done the job, asked her questions about the job. I then answered some questions from the hiring manager about my experience with logistics, materials management, and SAP knowledge. I then spoke to a Supply Chain Analyst who further described the position. I then had to take a power-point and excel spreadsheet test which lasted about 45 minutes. After that, I spoke to a DRP in Germany where she asked me a multitude of questions about my experience and how I would use SAP to find important data points with inventory movement. I came back for a second interview. This one lasted about 90 minutes. I met the Operations/Supply Chain director who asked me to walk him through my resume. I met with the hiring manager again who gave me the results of the power-point and excel test. I was then allowed to ask him the remaining questions I had after the first interview after I had time to digest that very long interview.

HR Referent
The interview process was chaotic. The specific goals and responsibilities of the role couldn't be clearly defined. It didn't feel very valued, giving off a vibe from the start that there wasn't genuine interest. One of the interviewers barely said anything. If I ever have another interview like this, I'll have the courage to end it myself.
