The interview process had four rounds. First, an HR screen. Second, an introductory chat with the Engineering Manager. Third, a technical interview and a live coding session with the EM and an Engineer, focusing on basic tech knowledge and general design skills. Fourth, a conversation with a Product Manager. The whole thing was respectful of me as a candidate. No take-home work was required, and I wasn't asked about irrelevant knowledge like generic algorithms. The interviewers were professional and friendly.

So vidIQ's interview process was really put together well. I applied and got screened, then they called me for a phone interview. The recruiter was super nice and professional, which was a good start. The main thing was a take-home assignment using React. It felt like a real task, like what I'd actually be doing. The instructions were clear and it was a fun challenge that let me show what I can do. Then, the main technical interview focused on that homework. The interviewers were cool and made it easy to talk, asking about how I solved stuff, why I made certain choices, and how I used React features. The whole time, you could just feel vidIQ's awesome company vibe. Everyone was nice and supportive, and it seemed like a really collaborative team. It made me feel really good about potentially working there. Basically, vidIQ's interviews were a good mix of tough technical stuff and a friendly atmosphere.

I applied online and the interview process was 4 stages long. First was a phone screen, then I interviewed with the hiring manager and a senior engineer, and finally met with senior management. The whole thing took about 3 weeks. I really liked how transparent they were about the job - they didn't just tell me how great it was, but also shared the tough parts. It gave me a clear picture of the role and the work involved.
