So the interview had 4 rounds total. First, I chatted with a recruiter from vidIQ who told me about the company and the process. Then, there was a live coding session with a senior developer. This was actually pretty cool - they sent me a repo a day before, so I could look at the stack and get a feel for what I'd be doing. The task was to add features to it. It lasted about an hour and there was no take-home assignment. After that, I had a component design interview, which was purely theoretical. I just had to explain how I'd design specific components. Finally, I had a behavioral interview with the hiring manager where I answered situational questions like 'What would you do if...?'. I got an offer after this. The whole thing, from the first call to the offer, took just under 3 weeks, which I don't think is too bad for 4 rounds. I should mention I booked all my calls right after getting the invite, so it might take longer if you don't. Overall, I liked the process, although it felt like a lot of rounds. The recruiter was super passionate about vidIQ, which made me really want to join.

Behavioral Technical

I went through a three-part interview process. The first was a standard initial interview, and it went well. The second interview focused on my background, and that also seemed to go fine. Then there was a technical task, which I did, but I never heard back about it. A week or two later, I emailed both interviewers to follow up, but got no response. I thought that was pretty unprofessional and a letdown. Even if they chose someone else, a quick reply would have been nice.
