The hiring process was pretty straightforward. I applied online, completed the assessment, and then waited for a call back. After that, we had a video interview where they asked me some standard questions. Then I just had to wait again to hear back.

Applied online, then got a call for an interview a few days later. Met with a store manager from my local store. We talked about my past sales experience and how I would approach handling customer questions. Also discussed my ability to meet deadlines and multitask, my background in the mobile phone industry, and how comfortable I am with explaining phones to customers, including doing basic troubleshooting.

Applied online for the Sales Consultant job at A Wireless on Sept 16th. I got a call on the 22nd from HR asking if I could do a phone interview on the 24th. Accepted, and got a reminder email the next day with a job description that was an old flyer, lol. The phone interview happened on the 24th, the HR rep called a bit early and asked if we could start. We did, and after some small talk, she described compensation and asked if I had questions. I didn't, so she asked me 8 questions: 2 about why I left past jobs and 6 about the position. I answered them, and she typed them up. Then she said she'd email me a more detailed application and that I'd need to fill it out before a face-to-face interview. She mentioned she'd send my info and the application to the store director and they'd contact me for the next step.
