I was called into my Regional VP's office and asked if I'd be open to relocating to another state and office. I said I would be interested depending on the benefits and salary. He then went into details about cost of living and other important factors. After that, I was flown to the new branch for a second interview with the branch president, where they presented an offer.

The HRM recruiter is really professional and knows exactly what they need to add to the team, looking for experience, culture fit, and what unique contributions you can make. My advice is to be honest and try to get to the final step before discussing salary and benefits. Then you can figure out if it's the right environment for you, if you see yourself staying long-term or short-term, and what your exit strategy might be. Will this role help you advance, or is it just for the paycheck?! :)

You'll start with a call from the sales manager. Then, there's an in-person meeting with the sales manager, and if they're around, the branch president too. The next step is a meeting with both the sales manager and the branch president. If they think it's necessary, you might have another chat with the regional manager.
