I put in my application online and then got a call the following week. It was a quick chat with some basic questions. After that, they asked me to come in for a group interview. The group interview was quite long, but it felt pretty relaxed, and the two people interviewing were super nice. First, we all went around and introduced ourselves, saying why we wanted to work for Victoria's Secret and sharing one thing about ourselves not on our resume. Then, they gave us a customer profile and we had to team up to pick out items from a table that we thought would match the description and present them. After that, they asked each of us a couple of 'situation' questions related to our resume, like asking for an example of teamwork. The 'surprise challenge' came next – we were told to sell an item right then and there. I figured it'd be a Victoria's Secret product, but nope. She brought out a calculator, ruler, sticky notes, and correction fluid. Honestly, I thought it was a bit much to just put someone on the spot like that, selling a ruler. I was surprised by how sales-focused they were; I'd expect that for a high-level sales role. They mentioned they'd let us know within a week and would give feedback even if we didn't get the job. They called on the seventh day to say I didn't get it. They said to email for specific feedback, which I did, but it's been weeks and still nothing.

There were three interviews in total. I spoke with the Assistant Manager, the Store Manager, and the District Manager. The questions were pretty easy or average. They mostly wanted to hear about my sales background, how I would do in customer service, and my leadership potential.
