Marketing
I had a phone call with a recruiter and then two Zoom interviews with people from the department I'd be joining. The questions were pretty standard, except for being asked about other languages I might speak. A reference check was next, and then after a few days, I got a verbal offer over the phone and an email offer letter, with the salary matching what I asked for. The whole process took a bit, but accepting the offer and starting was smooth.

- Are you able to speak any languages other than English?
Supervisor
I started by submitting an application on the company's website. About three days later, I got an email for a recruiter screening, which was about 30 minutes long. They asked me a bunch of questions about my background, skills, and education. After that, they said I'd hear back in about two weeks about interviewing with the hiring manager. The very next day, I got a Zoom interview invite. I interviewed with the Sr Operations Manager and the Workforce manager, and it lasted about an hour. The interview started with why I wanted to leave my old job and why I applied to VEH. They asked some really interesting questions, not the usual 'Tell me about a time when...' stuff. Instead, they focused on my skills, experience, and how I'd handle situations, not how I've handled them before. For instance, they asked 'how do you motivate others?' instead of a past experience question. They also skipped the 'Tell me about yourself' question, and instead asked about my work history and relevant skills. I was told I'd know within two weeks if I got the job. Five days later, the recruiter called to follow up, and I was offered the position! I really liked getting a call instead of just an email. Overall, it was a great interview experience, it was fast, and everyone was professional and made me feel comfortable.

Salesforce Engineer
So I first had a recruiter phone screen, about 20 mins. They barely mentioned the company or role, just a few words at the very end. Lots of questions about why I applied, TMAY, and what I'm looking for. Pretty generic stuff like 'describe working with cross-functional teams.' I asked a simple project question at the end, and they didn't even know the answer. A week later, I got invited to a 2-round interview, both behavioral, with a Solution Architect. No intro from them, which was rude and made it unpleasant. It was just a barrage of questions with no breaks. I tried to chat and ask questions, but they weren't interested. The questions felt like they were just read off a website, covering topics like why I want the job, getting good feedback, what makes me a good fit, strengths/weaknesses, persuading people, conflicts, teamwork, tough projects, and working under pressure and deadlines. This was for a 1-2 YOE role, which felt a bit short for all those experiences. Anyway, I answered everything, and then they asked if I'd built anything with Apex. Seriously? For a developer role, especially after I mentioned LWC. I felt overqualified after that and some other role insights, so I wasn't upset they didn't move me to the technical round.
- Can you describe your experience working with different teams within a company?
- Can you tell me about your experience with system integrations?
- What qualities do you possess that make you a strong candidate for this position?
Analytics Manager
It was a really disorganized interview process. First, there was a 30-minute call with a recruiter where they asked basic questions about my job responsibilities. Then, about a week later, I had a panel interview with three people, which lasted an hour. However, two of the interviewers had to leave halfway through for another meeting. They told me there would be one more final interview. Since it was around the holidays, I followed up with the recruiter after two weeks. She mentioned the team was just getting back into the swing of things after the holidays and I'd get an update within the week. I messaged again a week later and heard nothing back. I was ghosted after a very strange experience. I guess I might have avoided a bad situation.
- How would you describe your management style?
