First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vi.
Software Development Engineer
So, the interviews had a few parts. First, there was this online coding test thingy to see how good I am with problems, data structures, and algorithms. After that, I had two technical interviews. They asked me stuff about Java, Python, and Spring Boot, and also some front-end questions about React and Angular. The last thing was an HR interview where we talked about how I communicate, if I'd fit in, and my previous projects. It was pretty thorough, checking both tech skills and how I interact.

Network Engineer
I went through the interview process for a Network Engineer position at Vi Living. It was a bit of a letdown, honestly. Usually, there's a recruiter call and then a hiring manager chat, but here, it was all condensed into one onsite interview. I was initially told I'd meet 3 people for 2 hours, but it turned into 5 people over 3 hours. The main issue, though, was the lack of follow-up. I expected some communication after the interview and gave them over 3 weeks, but got nothing back – not even a rejection. The recruiter said they hadn't heard anything either, which makes me think their internal communication is pretty bad and they don't really respect candidates' time. This silent treatment after a long interview process seems to be a trend, and it really kills trust and harms how people see the company. The people I met were nice, but the total lack of a clear outcome and accountability is a big red flag. I might reconsider interviewing with Vi Living again.

After passing both interviews, Three days later you will do either an in person interview with the head of HR or via zoom. I week later the call you to tell you there is an 4 person panel interview to test your knowledge in information technology. The interview if one hour long, they generally ask easy questions. The issue is they asked all their questions but did not give a chance to give your 5 minute sell yourself speech, They rushed to end the video call. They did not tell me we will call you back or what the next step in the process was. at this point i had invested about 3 weeks in the job. They basically Ghosted me and did not reply to emails, messages, or test, not human resource or the person who interviewed me. It is a lack of professionalism

Sales
The whole thing takes a while, like up to two months. You start by applying online, then there's an in person interview. After that, a bunch of phone interviews with the Chicago office. You'll also have to take a Gallup test and go through up to three panel interviews. To get hired, you need to pass a background check, drug test, and get fingerprinted. Having a proven track record in senior sales is a plus. They move slow because the background check takes a long time. The Executive Director of the community interviews you, even though the Sales Manager usually makes the final call. The HR Department in Naples has had a lot of turnover and isn't very helpful.
