I went through two interview rounds. First, there was a phone screening with HR. Then, I had a 1-hour on-site interview with the head of Quality. They said I'd hear back in about two weeks. It's been three weeks, and when I messaged HR, they said no decision was made yet and they'd let me know if there were updates. Now it's been five weeks, and the job ad is gone. No communication at all, which was a huge waste of my time.

The hiring process started with a discussion with the hiring manager, followed by meetings with two team members. The interviews were quite relaxed. They were primarily interested in my familiarity with specific laboratory techniques, particularly qPCR and HPLC, as the role required expertise in these areas. It was evident that the team works closely together and they placed importance on assessing cultural fit. I also found out that they often use staffing agencies for recruitment, which can extend the overall hiring timeline.
