FT Role
The recruiter was okay until the end, then things got passive. The process felt long and drawn out for no reason. It felt mutual in person, but after having to constantly follow up for weeks, it left a bad impression of the team and the org, making me uninterested. The team should really improve the candidate experience and audit their process. People shouldn't have to wait weeks to a month to hear back, that's ridiculous, especially for Vevo.
- Which vendors have you collaborated with in the past?
Data Analytics Manager
The interview process had 5 rounds, with the last one being in-person. I followed up a few days after the final interview and was told I didn't get the job. I'm sure they would've ghosted me if I hadn't emailed. I also asked the HR rep and hiring manager for feedback, but got nothing. They totally wasted my time. They also hired a new head of the department during my interview process and hinted at a restructure. Watch out for layoffs and a disorganized company!

Account Service Representative
My recruiting experience was really bad mostly because the recruiter was disorganized and didn't communicate well. Setting up interviews was tough since my availability was often ignored and I was asked to change my schedule to fit theirs. Even after I agreed to their times, it took days for them to confirm. For the second interview, I had to chase him for confirmation and a calendar invite. When he finally got back to me, he proposed a different day and time, and it changed from a 1-on-1 to a 3-person panel. I rearranged my schedule again because that was the only time the panel could meet. But on the interview day, the interviewers were surprised to be on a panel, so they were unprepared. It seemed like internal communication was also bad. I also felt a bit misled because the initial call said they needed someone fast and it would only be 2-3 rounds. After about a month of emails and 3 interviews, they added 2 more rounds. I did round 4 and was invited to round 5, which was in person. But after seeing so many red flags like poor communication, last-minute changes, unexpected extra rounds, and disrespect for my time, I decided to withdraw my application. I explained all this, and the recruiter didn't even apologize or take responsibility. That just proved I made the right decision.
- How do you keep yourself organized when working in a fast-paced environment?
Account Manager
It was a super smooth process. They started with a recommendation, then an HR call, followed by the hiring manager, and then the hiring manager's manager. They were straight forward and honest about salary expectations and what the job would entail. They were willing to listen on relevant experience, but when I said my salary expectations, they admitted they were not able to meet them at the level they were hiring for.
- How have you acquired skills in business to business sales?
- What are your methods for time management?
