First meeting was online with HR and the department, it lasted 1.5h where they asked about my whole life story and motivation. They also asked standard questions like strengths, weaknesses, and about the job description. The second meeting, or rather, workday, was on-site. It was 8.5h long with back-to-back 30min-1h interviews with different people, only interrupted by a lunch break. I had to tell my life story to everyone again. After all that, I got a generic rejection email without a proper salutation. When I asked for feedback twice, they said they couldn't share details. It felt very opaque and not appreciative of the time and travel I invested. I doubt the decision because everyone seemed happy with my answers, even in the final interview, and I suspect it might be due to my gender and age (young and childless).

The atmosphere was really nice, and they prepared me well via email with a link for the virtual interview, which lasted about an hour. Then there was a 'Schnuppertag' (taster day) in Ravensburg for about 3 hours. The subsequent discussions with colleagues and HR were also very respectful and solution-oriented.

The interview at Vetter Pharma for the CSV Engineer position was well-organized and professional. We started with introductions and an overview of the company and department. Then, my resume was reviewed in detail, and I was asked about my past projects in CSV and GMP. This was followed by technical questions about validation documents, system lifecycles, and real-world examples. The interviewers seemed prepared and asked situational questions. I had the chance to ask my own questions about the team, projects, and work methods. Finally, the next steps in the application process were briefly outlined. The atmosphere was friendly but technically demanding.
