The initial step involved a recruiter call to screen candidates. I then had a meeting with the CEO, who is very deliberate and takes his time when hiring for key positions. I received a callback two months later while I was working elsewhere. I accepted the offer because I liked the CEO's perspective on technology utilization; it's rare for a CEO to be so versed in tech.

I first spoke with the hiring manager, who went over the pay scale and asked about my preferences for the type of site I'd work at. It's helpful to know the population you're interested in and have specific examples from your background. Then, I interviewed with the site director. They elaborated on the client population and the site's specific needs. The job posting mentioned that clinical supervision hours would be provided, but it didn't state that there would be a cost associated with them. Since I wasn't willing to pay for supervision, I declined the offer.
