The interview process at Vertex seemed to go fine, but then HR went silent after I completed several assessments. There was no feedback or reply, which felt like a waste of my time and energy. A simple rejection would have been more professional. It was really disappointing.

The interview process was enjoyable and not overly challenging. I encountered a good group of interviewers. It was my initial experience with multiple rounds for a job, but it wasn't too difficult even so.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out. She was super nice when setting up the initial screening, which was actually on Teams, not just a call. It had a bunch of personality and behavioral questions. Then, I got scheduled for a second interview with the hiring manager and the team. That one was also really chill with easy questions. They told me I was moving on, but then... ghosted. I emailed the hiring manager to follow up and got no response. It's weird to be told you're moving forward and then get ghosted. If there was someone better, just send a rejection. Don't ghost.

So after emailing my resume and cover letter to the HR person, we had a 3 part interview process. First was a phone screen. Then there were 2 face to face interviews. The first one was with HR and the hiring manager, mostly behavioral questions, and it was pretty chill, lasted a bit over an hour. The next day they emailed to set up the second interview for the following week with 2 VPs. That one lasted almost 2 hours and was more about skills, like how I'd use what I know in their industry. My research really helped there.
