The process was pretty straightforward and not overly complicated. It took me about a month and a half from applying online to receiving the offer. The scientists who interviewed me were mostly focused on assessing my understanding of the projects and techniques listed on my CV, rather than how familiar I was with the specific scientific field for the role.

The onsite was a 4-hour day which included a technical interview, a presentation, an interview with the head of chemistry, an HR interview, and an interview with some research/senior research scientists about my current position and future plans.
