The HR stage was fast and went well, but then it sat with the hiring manager for a month before a generic rejection email arrived. The job is still posted months later, suggesting it's not an honest job posting.

Despite hearing some negative feedback, I actually had a positive interview experience. I first spoke with a recruiter, and then had a follow-up interview with senior marketing leaders. Both interactions were pleasant and felt comfortable. The second interview was very specific and data-driven, but it was still a good discussion. It appears that new employees are set up for success.

Behavioral Presentation

Got an email from the recruiter, we had a good chat, and then I went into the office to meet my potential boss. That interview also went well, and a week later I met with the team and directors. The last step was a tour at one of the schools. I thought it all went great and I was expecting an offer. But after waiting about a week and a half, I received a generic email saying I wasn't chosen. It was disappointing because this was a 4-week process, I took time off work for the interviews, and I expected at least a courtesy call. I really wanted to join the team and company because I think they're making a difference. My advice is to show more appreciation for candidates, because our time is valuable too!

Technical Case Coding

The recruiters were super nice, but then I had an interview with the hiring manager, and he was really rude and kept putting down my skills and experience. I got past that, and the next step was a case study and some SQL queries. The case study was vague, so the interviewer's interpretation was key. I put a lot of effort into it, but the hiring manager was again rude and had a superiority complex. When I talked to current employees, they couldn't describe their projects well, just mentioned working on KPI dashboards.
