First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vertafore.
Business Analyst
I applied online and got an email the same day to do personality and cognitive assessments, which took about 15 minutes each. I had to record myself doing these assessments. A few days later, I had a phone interview with a recruiter. About a week after that, I had an in-person interview at the Denver office with two people, each interview lasting 30 minutes. A few days after that, I was asked to come back in to meet with one more person for 30 minutes. The day after the final interview, I got a call offering me the job.
- Can you tell me about your background?
- Why do you think you'd be a good fit for this position?
- What would you say is your biggest weakness?
Business Analyst
Applied online and had an unsupervised online aptitude test the same day. A week later, I took a video-supervised online aptitude test. Two days after that, I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager. Twelve days later, there was a 3-hour on-site interview with the Hiring Manager, Tech Team, two other managers, and then back to the Hiring Manager. The day after that, they asked for my references and said I'd hear from them soon. I followed up a week later for an update and got a generic denial letter. Overall, it was a good process, though the three-hour interview felt a bit long. It's funny how companies never follow up when they say they will.

Business Analyst
I applied online and got emailed to take a cognitive test and a personality test. It was weird that the application asked for my age. After I passed the first cognitive test, I was emailed to take another cognitive test live. Then I spoke with a recruiter who mentioned that they were mass hiring. She said she'd pass my resume to the hiring manager and I would hear back. I haven't heard anything yet. Isn't it odd that they want to know how old you are and need to see who you are before interviewing you instead of looking at your skills?
