The interview process was a bit lengthy but felt informal. Two individuals, who identified as Program Managers, conducted the interview. The questions they asked were not technical at all. Honestly, from the moment they started speaking, I sensed that this company wasn't worth my time. I'm actually relieved I didn't receive an offer from such a unprofessional and low-caliber organization. It's standard practice to inform candidates whether they've been selected or not, but they left me completely in the dark. Even after I tried calling them, they deliberately ignored my calls. I also sent an email right after the interview, but received no response or acknowledgement. I strongly advise against wasting your time with this company; you'd be better off staying in your current role or continuing your job search elsewhere.

The whole interview thing took about 2 months. It started with a phone interview after they reached out. Then I had two in-person interviews where I met the staff. It felt more like a casual chat to see if we'd vibe rather than a formal interview, and everyone was super nice.

I was first contacted for a phone interview where I was asked basic questions about why I wanted to leave my current job and work for their company. We talked about my experience and salary expectations, and they said I'd be contacted for a personal interview. The first interview was a dinner interview with my direct supervisor, who asked questions about my work ethic, past projects, and personality. The next day, I had a 10:00 am interview where I gave a 10-minute presentation on my current projects. After a Q&A, I interviewed for about 45 minutes to an hour with four different people. Most questions were about how I'd react in certain job-related situations, like last-minute travel, being away from family, or working overtime. I got a verbal job offer at the end. Afterward, they offered to help me find apartments and get settled in the area. My impression is that Versar cares for its employees.
