The entire interview process was conducted respectfully. They asked questions that were fairly expected, giving a solid (though vague) overview of potential client work and a good explanation of the day-to-day responsibilities. The team seemed very nice, although I didn't get to meet many people due to COVID.

So I got an email about a Digital Project Manager role, which was weird cuz I didn't apply. I Googled them, seemed legit, so I said I was interested. They sent a job brief that mentioned hourly pay, which worked out to over $100k/year. A bit of a red flag, but I went for the first meeting. The interview was through chat on this Lark platform, which was a pain to set up. I missed their initial message at 6pm EST cuz I couldn't figure out the app, but they replied and said we could start right then. I thought it'd be quick, but it took TWO HOURS. It felt more like a technical interview than a pre-screening. Typing out my answers was slow, I felt rushed, and they even disappeared for 20 mins. Another red flag was they said I'd have to buy a second phone and an iPad Pro and they'd reimburse me later, instead of just providing the tech. They also asked for references, and now I'm worried they'll spam them. They said they'd follow up the next day but totally ghosted me.

I first sent in my resume, and then I had an online Skype interview. After that, they asked for my unofficial transcript and also sent me an email assessment. The assessment had questions about my thoughts on changes in AdWords. I was supposed to have an interview with the CEO that Monday, but they ended up denying me because of my low grades from my freshman and sophomore years, which affected my overall GPA. I'm not sure if I should have never sent it, as it has my age and other important info, or if I should have done something else. I regret sending my transcript because they liked everything else about me until they saw my grades. The classes related to this position, I passed them and graduated, so I'm not sure why it mattered so much. Glassdoor didn't help with this; if I had known this was a company that asked for grades, I would have done some extra preparation for that.

After emailing about open positions, I got a phone call and then went in for an in-person interview. There were two separate interviews after that, and both had multiple people. It was a pretty typical hiring process, and they were really clear about what the job entails and what they were looking for.
