The interview felt stuffy and awkward. They made no effort to make me feel comfortable or offer reassurance. I discussed my past experiences and my motivations for pursuing a career as an attorney, but they didn't seem impressed. I shared my journey through college and some tough choices I made, expressing pride in my achievements. After my awkward talk, they mentioned that even if students don't get the job, they can serve as contacts for advice. As they got up to leave, they forgot about a paper they had handed me to fill out. They also stated their preference for giving candidates a chance to 'hear them out,' similar to my experience. I attempted to ask practical questions about the role, but their responses were brief. They didn't ask any questions about my skills or how I would handle specific situations. The interviewer seemed annoyed. I realized within 10 minutes that I wasn't the candidate they were looking for.

Scheduling was a breeze and the questions were pretty standard. The interview was super quick, under 15 minutes, and really direct, which I appreciated.

Applied to a position in a satellite office outside of Florida. Had a Zoom interview that went very well. Was told I was a serious candidate and they'd be sending benefits information with a decision by the end of the week. Never heard back after that. Emailed and called multiple times and received no response. I found it to be very unprofessional behavior from an employer, especially after claiming I was a great candidate and being about to send benefits information.

I applied online and then they reached out for an in-person interview. It was with the managing and senior attorneys. It felt pretty conversational and relaxed. We chatted about my background, what I'm looking for, the job itself, and the legal field.
