The interview was pretty much about coding questions based on patterns, some easy to medium SQL queries, and core OOP concepts. It was moderately difficult. They cared a lot about confidence and clear communication, and the interviewers would steer the conversation based on your answers and how you approached things.

Following that, there was a technical evaluation with coding questions for about 15 minutes. I applied online and after two weeks they got back to me asking for a 30-minute phone call. I wasn't able to speak with the hiring manager, who apparently was the only one who knew the specifics of the role, until after I completed a coding test. This was despite me having a B.S. in Computer Science and 5 years of experience, most of which was at the same company.
