First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Veritas Collaborative.
Front Desk Assistant
First, you get a pre-screener about why you want the job and what makes you a good fit. The first interview seemed good, the staff were nice and they discussed the facility. I didn't hear back, but then the recruiter called about a second interview. The second interview was misleading; they talked about who I'd work with, the different roles, the schedule, and the duties, making it seem like I had the job. It seemed to go well, but I didn't get the position and wasn't updated on my status. I had to email them to ask about it because they thought they had already contacted me. The whole experience was disappointing because it was so misleading.

Administrative Assistant
The hiring process was really positive and welcoming. They laid out what they expected really clearly. They also gave a deep dive into the actual work involved. The interview was scheduled a few days out, which gave me enough time to prep. Since the interview was with my potential direct supervisor, I felt I had a good shot at showing what I could do and how I'd respond. The whole thing felt really understanding. I think the interview went well, and it's an experience I'll remember for future interviews.
- Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations in a prior job?
L&D Specialist
The process was fast at first, but the hiring manager said the next steps would either be her selecting someone from just the HR phone screen and her interview, or she might do second interviews. Two weeks passed, and I followed up with the recruiter, who said an update would come next week. It's been almost three weeks since then, and I haven't heard anything. I got the impression that the process is pretty messy and disorganized. It's very unprofessional to ghost applicants after multiple interviews.
- Can you give examples of your past work experiences?
- What are you good at?
- What could you improve on?
Therapeutic Assistant
I got an email to set up a phone interview. It was really quick with just a few basic questions. Then they said I was moving on to an in-person interview. I talked with a supervisor for about an hour. They asked about my background and some general stuff. They also asked about my experience with eating disorders and how I felt about doing things like eating with patients, dealing with blood or vomit, self-harm, checking bathroom output, and other tasks needed for the job.
- What would you do if a patient wasn't eating at the table?
