First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Veristat.
Financial Accountant
The interview was smooth and very friendly. The manager was very knowledgeable and it was a great pleasure working with him as I did learn a lot about the company's systems and processes. The manager has since left and has been a big miss on our team, but overall the interview was great and they put you at ease.
- Could you go over your CV and tell me what parts of your experience you think would be most beneficial in this role?
Public Affairs Manager
It was a typical first-round interview. After an introduction, there were technical questions about how I would approach certain scenarios and propose solutions, with a focus on the life science context. They also asked about my network and previous activities, which makes sense in the public affairs field.
- How would you represent the interests of company X and what measures would you take?
CRA
The interview process included a 10-minute prescreening with the recruiter, followed by two manager interviews, each lasting 30 minutes. The interviews were typical situational based questions related to the CRA job description, covering topics like conducting IMV and SIV, IP management, and resume review. Candidates were also asked to be ready to explain any employment gaps.
- Could you introduce yourself?
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
- What motivated your entry into the clinical research field?
Sourcing Specialist
The interview process had 1 phone screen and 2 onsite interviews. The phone screen was pretty basic, but had a lot of questions and lasted about 30 minutes. The first onsite interview was with the recruiter I'd be working with and the Sr. Director of HR, followed by a skills assessment test. In the second onsite interview, I met with the same 2 people plus the CEO. They asked a lot of role and skill based questions, and also questions to check if I would be a good cultural fit.
- Which platform has been most successful for your sourcing efforts?
