First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Verisign.
Software Engineer Intern
After submitting my resume and filling out the application, a recruiter got in touch and set up the interview. The first interview was technical, covering some resume-related questions, followed by more challenging technical interviews.
- Find the first non-repeating integer in an array
Software Engineer
The first round was pretty straightforward, with easy LeetCode-style problems and a review of my resume. The second round was a bit more challenging, involving easy to medium LeetCode questions. Overall, the interview process wasn't overly tough, but it did take a long time.
- Write a function to print the diagonals of an array.
- Implement a method to check if a string is a palindrome.
Software Engineer Intern
It wasn't too bad, first there was an easy hashmap problem and some basic time complexity questions. The second interview was more about matching you with a specific team, so they asked more team specific questions.
- When you need to go through a list to find something specific, what kind of data structure would be best?
- What are your thoughts on time complexity?
- Can you tell me more about your background and how it relates to this team?
