I got contacted for a first call with the Director of Talent Operations, who is like the HR. It was about 30 minutes where we looked at my resume and they told me about IRC and the RA role. The next day, they asked to set up a panel interview with two program managers. A week later, I had this interview and they asked about my research skills, like data analysis tools I've used and why I wanted to work at IRC and how it fit my career goals. A few days after that, they sent me a case study to do and present a week later. I got documents and data, and a PowerPoint template. I had to present this to a bigger group of people at IRC, maybe PMs and RAs. I decided to stop pursuing it because I got an offer elsewhere and accepted it. The whole process was really friendly, I got feedback quickly, and always knew what was going on with my application. They're super transparent. It just wasn't for me because I wasn't that interested in university recruiting and my research interests didn't really line up, but you don't need experience in that field. They want someone eager to learn and grow. It seems like a great startup with good culture and coworkers who are like friends. The staff is mostly young, making it dynamic, innovative, and fun. The interview process was smooth and friendly, a good experience overall!

I was recruited directly via LinkedIn. The interview process was lengthy, starting with a 30-min intro call with a recruiter (who seemed aloof and had her camera off), followed by a 45 min interview with the director and senior manager. The final interview was a 90 min panel with 6 people, including those from the previous interview and other team members. For this last interview, I had to present a case study using a PPT I created from materials provided beforehand. This took about 10-15 hours of work. The instructions in the materials were a bit misleading; they said to present as if to a client, but in the interview, they wanted an informal presentation for team feedback. After these three interviews, I got a generic rejection email. I found this odd and disrespectful, especially for a company that claims to help improve recruiting processes. My requests for feedback were met with another automated, error-filled email. I would avoid this company; their actions don't align with their 'human-centered' claims.

This is a long interview process but for good reason. This company pays associate level roles really well based on other companies I have looked at. The case study was awesome you truly get to feel what the role would be like...and to be honest it was a lot of time....I also did not have experience with this so took me even more :/ but I learned so much which I will definitely be taking with me to learn and improve now that I know! I did not get the offer but I will continue to try when other roles open. Don't let negative feedback of someone who did not get the role and is angry go into your thought process because at the end of the day this is a great company and worth the time investment!
