First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Vericel Corporation.
Director
Had a good initial call with the recruiter. The second video call with the hiring manager felt rushed, and they seemed more focused on the number of days per week we'd be in the office. No feedback, response, or closing the loop at all after the second interview.
- Is coming to the office 5 days a week something you're willing to do?
Facilities Engineer
I had two virtual meetings in total. First, I talked to the recruiter who reached out to me. Then, I had an interview with the project lead. It was a mix of technical and behavioral questions, and overall it was a pleasant experience.
- What makes you want to be an engineer?
Manufacturing Technician
I started with a 15-minute phone chat with someone from HR. They asked about my past lab work and went over the job details. Then, the next week, I had three separate interviews, each lasting about 30 minutes to an hour, with different manufacturing managers. We talked about common behavioral questions and my work history. They also gave me more info on how the onboarding and training works.
- What's your motivation for seeking this particular role?
- Could you share details about your prior experience in a lab setting?
- Please elaborate on your previous professional experiences.
Sales Operations Manager
The interview process began positively with clear timelines and expectations. As I progressed, it slowed considerably, with very little communication from the on-site recruiter and hiring team. Despite being a 'final' candidate and spending over two months in the 'process,' I was ultimately informed they were passing. They offered 'Good Luck.' It's important for job seekers to have consistent communication and know their standing, rather than being left to follow up with no response. I would be cautious applying here due to the lack of follow-up and the lengthy process.
- Can you describe your experience supporting and executing Individual Contributor plans for sellers?
