The interview process was great. Everyone was approachable and easy to talk to from the first phone call all the way to the start date. Company culture fit is a big deal here, and the interviews helped both sides see if it was a good match. It felt more personal than at other companies. You get to meet potential teammates, see the office, meet managers, and ask questions. Your resume and technical abilities are important and will be discussed, but the interviews are also about making sure it's a good fit for both the employee and the employer.

I applied online and a recruiter reached out a few days later to schedule an interview with the department manager. It wasn't super technical, more like "tell me about yourself and your qualifications." I felt like I asked most of the questions, but it was enough to move on. Next, I had to complete a structured questionnaire and a personality test. After that, I went onsite for in-person interviews. They covered all my travel expenses quickly. The worst part was not hearing back at all after the interviews, even when I tried to get an update. It felt unprofessional; a simple email saying they went with someone else would have been fine. It's the little things like that. But the people I met were nice, and the company seemed to have a good plan for growth.

We began with a tour of the new Charlotte building. Afterward, I had a brief 10-15 minute 1:1 with an Information Consultant. The interview focused on my resume to see how I'd fit within the company. They really wanted to know about my goals, like whether I wanted to join a startup or a larger company. I also met with people from Sales & Marketing, IT, and other departments during the day.

The plan is for a phone interview, then a meeting in the office with multiple managers, and then a lunch meeting. They ask practical questions and don't throw any curve balls. More than anything they want to know that you (1) have a true desire to be part of the organization (2) have knowledge or experience for the position, (3) are a good fit for the team...so be yourself.
