The hiring process was quick and they communicated really well. There were three interviews. The first was with HR and included a 5-question assessment to be completed afterwards. The second interview was with the Lead Account Strategist and Business Development, and the third interview was with the CEO and Lead Project Manager. Since it's a remote job, all interviews were conducted virtually.

This intern interview process was great! It was very genuine and behavioral. I had my first interview with the HR manager and then a second interview with an Account Strategist. Overall, they just wanted to get to know me and see if I would be a good fit for the culture, which is a big thing at Venveo.

Instead of a standard interview, I was given a paid design challenge to complete for a fake client, with a one-week deadline. I thought it was a good way for them to assess my skills and for me to show what I can do.

So this was a super involved interview process. Started with a 30-minute phone chat with the HR manager, mostly going over my resume details. Then I got this super long and hard take-home eval, took me like 6 hours to do because I really wanted to show my stuff. Waited a week after sending it back with no reply, so I followed up. After that, I got called in for an in-person interview with HR and the CEO. The office was really nice and seemed like a cool place to work. They were nice to me but seemed a bit rushed during the interview, asking for my resume copies instead of printing them. Only talked for 20 mins about my email marketing, which was weird since it was a social media job, and they never even mentioned my big evaluation. Felt like they wanted me out fast. Got an email 2 days later saying I didn't get the job, which was a bummer after all the effort.
