The interview process took several months, involving multiple rounds. After negotiations for a salary were settled, the company went silent for a while before eventually reaching back out to offer the previously agreed-upon amount. This approach felt quite disorganized and unethical, especially for a hiring team that needs to secure good candidates promptly to avoid losing them.

It was a multi-step interview process where they asked about my qualifications for the role. They gave a good explanation of the job requirements and how the company operates. Overall, it was a positive experience with a great company that has interesting new projects.

I had virtual meetings with both external and internal recruiters. Then I had virtual interviews with the hiring team. After that, I had a face-to-face lunch with the Ops team. Then there was radio silence. It's fine if I'm not a good fit, but it's common courtesy to follow up. The recruiter mentioned that no decision had been made yet. A note for young hiring managers: if you meet with someone in person, give them an update within a reasonable time. This whole experience has made me not want to work for the company, and I probably wouldn't take the job if offered.

The first round was with a really pushy and rude interviewer. They really pressed me for all the details about my current job, like my salary and benefits, and even said they'd stop the interview if I didn't tell them. When I tried to ask some basic questions about the company, they wouldn't answer, claiming it was for fear of corporate espionage, which was wild. The second interview was basically a non-stop technical question session for 30 minutes, so I barely had time to ask anything. The few questions I did get to ask revealed some job requirements that weren't in the description and were different from what the first person said. Both chats felt more like interrogations than interviews. Honestly, I'm glad I didn't get an offer because I would have turned it down anyway because of all the red flags. It was a terrible experience overall. Be super careful if you apply here.
